David Bloom
David Bloom is a leading investor and entrepreneur in digital infrastructure, best known as the founder of Goldacre, a specialist investment firm focused on data centres and scalable technology platforms. Previously a partner at the Noé Group, David has overseen the deployment of over £750 million into digital infrastructure, with a clear focus on assets that enable AI, cloud computing, and scientific research.
He is the founder and current Chairman of Kao Data, a hyperscale-inspired data centre platform established in 2014. Under his leadership, Kao Data has become one of the UK’s premier providers of high-performance colocation, serving enterprise, cloud, and HPC clients including NVIDIA and major research institutions. David has guided Kao Data through multiple funding rounds, strategic expansions, and operational scale-ups, helping establish it as a cornerstone of the UK’s digital backbone. Working with institutional investors including Legal and General and Morrisons.
In 2022, David expanded his infrastructure portfolio with the launch of NED Data Centres, a joint venture with the Levinstein Group targeting the Middle Eastern market. With Kao Data anchoring operations in the UK and NED establishing a regional footprint in Israel, David is at the forefront of building next-generation digital infrastructure across key global corridors.
